The Wild West Meets Industrial
Linus Barbecue is a restaurant that takes barbecuing to a religious level, and stands behind an idea of fine American dining. To befit the philosophy of the restaurant, the design criteria that the clients gave the team was a theme of the West and the old theater house vibe in the US. The team quickly took the ideas that the owners of Linus Barbecue had, and began to implement some of the iconic feature of the themes with a touch of modern industrial design.
라이너스 바베큐의 주 메뉴는 전통적인 미국식 바베큐 입니다. 클라이언트는 미국식 바베큐를 한국에 소개하는 것과 동시에 미국문화를 지다인에 반영하기를 원했고, 옛 서부개척 시대의 느낌과 브로드웨이의 극장과 같은 요소들이 레스토랑에 스며들어 있었으면 했습니다. 저히는 이러한 클라이언트의 요구를 현대적인 인더스트리얼 디자인으로 풀어 새로운 컨셉을 만들어가는데 주력했습니다..
Flavor in Everything
The team and the owners of Linus worked very closely to figure out the right balance between the Old West and Modern Industrial design. Linus himself wanted to be involved in every nook of the restaurant, and was very adamant about the things he wanted to instill in the design. Therefore the restaurant came out to embody the beliefs that the owners had, and was styled to meet the demands that the streets of Itaewon have today.
유닛레스는 클라이언트와 긴밀하게 협업하여 옛 서부시대의 느낌과 현대적인 인더스트리얼 디자인이 적절하게 조화 되도록 노력하여 현재의 이태원스럽고 라이너스스러운 모습으로 디자인을 완성 할 수 있었습니다.
